Pathway to Better Health provides PrEP and STI Screenings in a Stigma-Free Setting

Pathway to Better Health offers stigma-free sexual health services, including PrEP and STI screening. We provide comprehensive care and support for individuals of all backgrounds. Our clinic prioritizes harm reduction principles, focusing on minimizing the unintended consequences associated with sexual behavior through education, access to contraception, and STI testing and treatment. With a commitment to affirming, non-discriminatory care, our trained professionals cater to the unique needs of diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, sex workers, and people who use drugs.

Through counseling and prescriptions for PrEP, including oral medication and long-acting injectables, we empower individuals to take proactive steps in their sexual health. Additionally, we offer Doxy PEP for prevention of bacterial STIs and our screening and treatment services cover a wide range of sexually transmitted infections, ensuring comprehensive care for all of our patients. Here's what you can expect when you visit us:

Initial consultation and lab work evaluation: Patients interested in taking PrEP will need an initial consultation, either in-office or via telehealth, and a lab evaluation to determine their eligibility for PrEP.

Regular follow-up appointments: Patients who choose oral PrEP will be evaluated every 3 months with lab work and a check-in, either in-office or via telehealth. Patients who choose long-acting injectable PrEP will need to come to our office for injections. The first 2 injections are a “loading dose” and are given 1 month apart. After the 2nd injection, the patient will need to come to our office every 8 weeks for the injection.

At Pathway To Better Health, we provide a sex-positive environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your sexual health. Contact us today to schedule your appointment and take control of your sexual health.
